Clay Behavioral Health Center provides a full range of mental health services for adults, teens and children. Our adult services are offered in individual or group settings. We offer day treatment programs, crisis intervention, family services and more. Our goal is to provide a full range of mental health services to support the individual and his/her family during the rehabilitation and recovery process.
We offer the following Adult Mental Health Services:
Outpatient Counseling – Individual, Family, and Group Counseling
In-Home Mental Health Counseling – provided for individuals or families in the home
Life Skills Group – A therapeutic group designed to increase knowledge and self-awareness
Emergency Services – Crisis Intervention available 24 hours a day, seven days a week
Family Preservation – Intensive Family Services, including in-home counseling and Parenting education
Fast Track – A group offering to meet the needs of clients in crisis.
HELM Program – Services provided to individuals ages 15-36 who are experiencing their first episode of psychosis. Using the evidence-based NAVIGATE model, the program is recovery based and provides individual skills training along with family education and support. (1 year)
Psychosocial Rehabilitation – For adults with serious and persistent mental illness, an intensive outpatient program that focuses on independent living, pre-vocational and coping skills.
Adult Crisis Alternative Program (ACAP) – For people with mental illness, a short-term community-based alternative to hospitalization. To avoid the need for more restrictive and intensive interventions, ACAP is a six-bed adult facility with 24-hour staff designed to serve clients who are in need of respite services. The service may also be utilized by individuals who have been hospitalized for psychiatric care and are now ready for a less restrictive setting but not ready to be discharged home.
Vocational Services – Support in finding, maintaining and keeping competitive employment. Includes job coaching and on-call support to clients and employers.
Drop-in Center – Consumer-run support and recreation groups providing social opportunities for clients during non-treatment hours.
Case Management – Provides advocacy, links with resources and monitors progress of adults with serious and persistent mental illness with a history of hospitalizations.
Many of our services are offered on a sliding-fee scale. We accept most private insurance plans: Tricare, Medicaid, Medicare, and self-pay. Please contact our Access Department to discuss payment options at 904.291.5561.
Financial Guide Available
Studies have shown that people struggling with debt are three times more likely to have a mental health disorder. Unfortunately, this means that those with a mental health condition are not only forced to manage their unique symptoms but are also much more likely to have difficulties managing their finances.
CreditCards.com has created a guide using feedback from registered mental health and finance experts to help those with mental illnesses balance their financial and mental well-being.
