Assist others with Substance Abuse living their lives based on the principles of recovery and resiliency assigned to caseload. Screen referrals from all sources for the program within the designated time and respond with appropriate input to the team. Participate in multidisciplinary team staffing as needed and integrated treatment team meetings weekly. Monitor caseload and keep information current. Teach and model the value of every individual’s recovery experience. Model effective coping techniques and self-help strategies. Encourage peers to develop healthy independence. HS diploma and Certification by the state of Florida as a Peer Recovery Specialist. One (1) year experience working directly with children or adolescents with behavioral health needs. Successful completion of background screening.
