Adult Substance Abuse Services
Recovery from Alcohol Abuse or Drug Addiction
Clay Behavioral Health Center has substance abuse and prevention programs for adults, children, teens and families. Our programs help individuals reduce their dependence on drugs and/or alcohol and create a healthy, fulfilling and substance-free lifestyle.
Our Philosophy
People who are addicted to drugs or alcohol do not suffer from a lack of willpower or moral deficiency. Their addiction is a disease, which will respond to the proper treatment. Unfortunately, many people who abuse alcohol or drugs do not understand how to manage their illness, or do not know that treatment can help them.
Our Services
Adults receiving services at Clay Behavioral Health Center receive an initial screening or assessment to determine the severity of their substance abuse problem. After the assessment and diagnosis, the client is referred to an appropriate level of care.
Clay Behavioral Health Center offers specialty substance abuse treatment programs, including:
Dual Diagnoses – Services designed specifically for individuals with co-occurring substance abuse and mental illness
Aftercare – For individuals who have successfully completed treatment but need continued monitoring or support for ongoing recovery
Prevention Services – Community Education and Drug-Free Workplace Training
Outpatient Counseling – Structured solution-focused individual- and group-counseling for adults dealing with substance abuse and chemical dependency. Programs are designed to allow individuals to remain in the community and engage in regular daily activities during treatment.
Treatment Courts Program
A coordinated effort between the courts, law enforcement, probation and treatment services. The goal of Drug Courts is to intervene and break the cycle of substance use, addiction and crime, by offering a diversion from incarceration in eligible cases. Currently providing Adult Drug Court and Veterans Court.
